I’ve played with London-based singer songwriter Miri for over four years. Having started as a session musician in her band to support her album ‘Canvas’, I’m now helping to write and produce new material, as well as accompanying her at a number of gig nights and festivals across the UK this year.
Flight School is comprised of myself and a couple of friends I’ve played with since we were teenagers. Our music been played on radio stations and shop tannoys across the UK (and bizarrely, South America) despite the fact we have stubbornly only played one gig a year since 2007. “Impossible to easily pigeonhole, this is haunting left-of-centre pop rock for discerning listeners.” Cross Rhythms
Having only ever played in bands and with other songwriters in the past, I’ve now started gigging on my own – armed with just an acoustic guitar in a variety of tunings & loop pedal, using the instrument to create all manner of percussive noises, basslines and melodies to boot.
I have produced music for various short films, prime-time TV adverts and an introduction sequence for a national tour. If you would like to use any piece of music from this web site, do not hesitate to get in touch.
Examples of my work can be found in the projects listed on this page, and posted in the blog.
